Tesla Ghost es el proyecto electronico de Luis Roig, nacido el 1982 en Valencia, España. A los 17 años se compra un bajo eléctrico e intenta aprender a tocarlo ( con relativo éxito ). Algo de tiempo despues lo encontramos tocando en grupos locals de rock/metal como Zeus Faber ( actualmente Astrasomnia) o Majestica. Después de que su ultimo grupo Seed se disuelva, decide distanciarse por un tiempo de ensayos y actuaciones para dedicar mas tiempo a sus estudios ( Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones ) y experimentar y aprender cómo producir música.

Tesla Ghost is the electronic project of Luis Roig, born 1982 in Valencia, Spain. When 17 he buys an electric bass and tries to teach himself to play it (and relativelly succeeds on it). Some time later we find him playing bass in local rock/metal bands like Zeus Faber (now called Astrasomnia) and Majestica. After his last band Seed ceases to exist, he decides to take some time away from rehearsals and gigs to spend more time in his studies (Telecommunications Engineering) and experimenting on producing.

Durante estos años sus preferencias se han alejado (sin perder de vista) de bandas de metal clasico como Iron Maiden, Metallica o Helloween para ir por los derroteros del rock progresivo (Pink Floyd,Rush, King Crimson, Alan Parsons Project,Dream Theater, O.S.I) y la música electrónica (Chroma Key, Massive Attack, Future Sound of London, Brian Eno, Amon Tobin, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Dj Shadow, etc). De esta manera nace Tesla Ghost. Aunque este proyecto instrumental está fuertemente basado en sintetizadores y programaciones Luis insiste en grabar bajo y guitarras reales, obteniendo ayuda para lo último de amigos que colaboran en el proyecto.

During this years his musical preferences have moven away (without losing from sight) from classic metal bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica or Helloween to progressive rock (Pink Floyd,Rush, King Crimson, Alan Parsons Project,Dream Theater, O.S.I) and electronic music (Chroma Key, Massive Attack, Future Sound of London, Brian Eno, Amon Tobin, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Dj Shadow, etc). This way Tesla Ghost is born. Although this instrumental project is heavily based in synths and programming, Luis still insists in recording real bass and guitars, and gets help for the latest from friends who collaborate in the project.
